'. . that • ~:KJmh 1-4-71-30 ORIG1NAL RESOLUTION NO. 4417 A RESOLUTION CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING, DETERMINING THAT THE COUNCIL HAS JURISDICTION TO ACT, AND TAKING THE PROJECT UNDER ADVISEMENT BRYANT STREET PROJECT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, WHEREAS, this Council, on December 14, 1970, adopted its Resolu- tion of Intention No. 4407 to vacate a portion of Bryant Street and public alley; WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, a time and place for hear- ing on the proposed street and alley vacation was duly set by this Council; WHEREAS, said hearing has been duly held, oral and documentary evidence has been presented, all persons desiring to be heard have be~n given the opportunity, and this Council is duly advised in the premises:. NOW, THEREF'ORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That said public hearing is closed. 2. That the Council has acquired jurisdiction to adopt a resolution ordering the vacation of portions of Bryant Street and Alley 20 West. 3. That said Council hereby takes the matter of ordering said vacation under advisement. In the event that the City-wide election on the Bryant Street Project results in the approval there- of, and all other conditions precedent to the confirmation of s&.id Project are satisfied, the Council will consider final action on said vacation at its meeting at which escrow instructions referred to in the Agreement for the consu~anation of the Bryant Street Project are approved and after con1fummation of the Bryant Street Project is \ assured.
