HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 4416that • ~:KJmh 1-4-71-30 ORIGtNAL RESOLUTION NO. 4416 A RESOLUTION CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING, DETERMINING THAT THE COUNCIL HAS JURISDICTION TO ACT, AND TAKING THE PROJECT UNDER ADVISEMENT UNIVERSITY AVENUE DISTRICT BEAUTIFICATION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PROJECT NO. 70-95 RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, WHEREAS, this Council, on October 19, 1970, adopted its Resolu- tion No. 4386 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention, which resolution was subsequently amended; WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, th~ City Engineer pre- pared and filed his report, whereupon said report \f-!'B preliminarily approved and a time and place for hearing thereon duly set by this Council; WHEREAS, said hearing has be;m duly held, oral and documentary evidence has been presented, all persons desir~.ng to be heard have been given the opportunity, and this Council is duly advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That said public hearing is closed. 2. That the Council has acquired ,jurisdiction to act on the matter ot forming said assessment district and approving the Engineer's report, ordering the work and acquisitions, and con- finning the assessment. 3. That said Council hereby takes said project under advise- ment for consideration at its first regular meeting after the pro- posed City-wide election on the question of whether the Bryant Street Project should be approved, as set forth in Resolution No. 4390 calling the election, _presently scheduled for January 26, 1971. * * * * * 6,~mtk /7 J ..a~-1.-ad-" ' /'~ / ' ' " .
