A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REASSESSMEH'T
FOOTHILLS GAS SYSTEM
PROJECT KO. 68-82
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City ot Palo Alto, California,
WJIERFAS,, this Council did,, on the 21st day ot August, 1972,,
adopt ita Resolution No. 4639 directing the City Engineer to-make
and tile with thi• Council a reaaaeaament ot all of the parcels,
the former assessments upon which, under Resolution of Intention
No. 4230 •«!opted by said Council an April 7,, 1969,, are ao designated
upon the original assessment and diagram which was confirmed by said
Counc!.;l on May 5, 1969 and record~d in the ottice of the Superin-
tendent of Streets of the City.of Palo A1to on May 13,, 1969;

1972,, tile with this Council a diagram and ~aases81lent;
w11EREAS, said Council fixed Tlleaday, the 10th day of October,
1972,_ at the hour ot 7:30 o'~lock ·P.M., as the time tor hearing
said reassessment and caused notice ot aaid hearing to be published -·,
twice, to be -.11ed to all persona interested in aaid reaaaeasaent,
and to be posted on or near the Council cballber door,, •• appear
frOJll the attidavita on ~1le in tbe office ot the City Clerk; and

2. That said reaaaeaa~ent tiled with this Council be, and
the ~ame is hereby ratified, approved and continned.
3. That the City Clerk shall deliver aaid reassessment to
the Superintendent ot Streets together with a certified copy ot
--this resolution theMtto att&ched, and said Superintendent ot
Streets shall thereupon record such reassessment with a certifi-
cate at the erid thereof by the City Clerk that it is the reaaaeaa-
ment confirmed by the Council on October 10~ i972.
4. That the Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite
the assessments 1n said original diagram and asaeaament that they
have been displaced by said reassessment, giving the date, and
shall credit upon such reassessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When said reassessment bas been
recorded, the Superintendent ot Streets shall cause the original
assessroents to be canceled.
