A RF.80LUTtON CONFIRMING RFASSESSMENT
PORTIONS OF FOOTHILLS ANNEXATION
NO. 3 SANITARY TRUNK SEWERS AND
WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
PROJECT NO. 62-oa-·
ORIGINAL
RESOLVED, by the Council.of the City ot Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, this Council did, on the 21st day of August, 1972,
adopt its Resolution No. 4637 directing the City Engineer to make
and file with this Colincil a reassessment of all of the parcels,
the former assessments upon which, under Resolution of I~tention
No. 3633 adopted by said ColD'lcil on May 28, 1963, are so designated
upon the original assessment and diagram which was confirmed by
said Council on August 12, 1963 and recorded in the office of the
Superintendent of Streets of the City of Palo Alto on May 4, 1964;
WHERF.AS, said City Engineer did, on the 25th day of September,
1972, file with this Council a diagram and reassessment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed 'l\tesday, the 10th day of October,
1972, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M.,, as the time for hearing·

said. reassessment and caused notice of said hearing to be publis~ed
twice, .to be mailed to all person,. interested in said reassessment,

and 'to be posted on or near the Council chamber door,, as appear
from the affidavits on file in the otrice of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for ii.aid hearing two
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed re~
asaessment_ and all matters and things pertaining to said reassess-
ment were duly heard and con$1dered by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, r.r IS ORDERED,, aa f'o1lowa:
1. The Council hereby detel'lline• that the public interest
will be served by such reaaaeaament.

2. That said reassessment filed with this Council be, and
the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
3. That the City Clerk shall deliver said reassessment to
the Superintendent of Streets together with a certified copy of
this resolution thereto attached, and said Superintendent of
Streets shall thereupon record such reassessment with a certifi-
cate at the end thereof by the City Clerk that it is the reassess-
ment confirmed by the Council on October 10, 1972.
4. That the Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite
the assessments in said original diagram and assessment that they
have been displaced by said reassessment, giving the date, and
shall credit upon such reassessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When said reassessment has been
recorded, the Superintendent of Streets shall cause the original
assessments to b~ ~anceled.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council of the
City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting thereof held on the
