A RESOllJTION CONFIRMING REASSESSMENT
FOOTHILLS ANNEXATION NO. 1-A
SANI'l'ARY '!RUNK SEWERS AND

PROJECT NO. 59-1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, Califoniia,
WHBREA.S, this Cowic11 did, on the 21st ·day of August, 1972,
adopt its Resolution No. 4638 directing the City Engineer to make
and tile •1th this Council a rea,sseasment ot all of the pa?'C'f!ls,
the tormer assessments upon which, under Resolution No. 3231 ot Pre-
liminary Determination and ot Intention adopted by said Council on
June 27, 1960, are so designated upon the original asse•sment and
diagram which was c~ti:nned by aaid Council on November 14, 1960
and recorded in the office ot the superintendent of ·Streets ot the
City of Palo Alto on Jam,iaey 29, 1961;
-WHBREA.S, said City Engineer did, on the 25th day of September,
1972, file with this Council a diagram and reaaseaament;
WHEREAS, s&1d Council fixed TUeaday, the 10th day ot October,
1972, at the hour ot 7:30 o'clock P.M., as the time for bearing
said reassessment and caused notice ot said bearing to be published
twice, to be -.1.led to all peracm• interested in said reassessment,
and to be posted on or near the coun'cil Chamber door, as appec.r t'rom
tb;e at'tictavita on tile in the otfice ot the City Clerk; and

l. The Council bereby __ detenine• that· the public 1ntere1t
will be served by such reaaaeaeaent.

2. That sa1d reassessment tiled w1th this Council be, and
the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
3. That the City Clerk shall deliver said reassessment to
the Superintendent of Streets together with a certified copy of
this resolution thereto attached, and said Superintendent of
Streets shall thereupon record such reassessment with a certifi-
cate at the end thereof by the City Clerk that it is the reassess-
ment confirmed by the Council on October 10, 1972.
4. That the Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite
the assessments in said original diagram and assessment that they
have been displaced by said reasses~ment, giving the date, and
shall credit upon such re~ssessment all payments thereto~ore made
upon the original assessment. When said reassessment has been
recorded, the Superintendent of Streets shall cause the original
assessments to be canceled.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council of the
City of Palo AltoL Califoni1a, at a meeting thereof held on the
