RESOWTION NO. 4658
A RESOUJTION DESCRIBING PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF
REASSESSMENT DISTRICT, 'DIRECTING FILING OF
BOUNDARY MAP AND REASSESSMENT DIAGRAM AND
THE RECORDATION OF NOTICE OF REASSESSMENT
PORTIONS OF FOOTHILLS ANNEXATION
NO. 3 SANITARY 'nUJNK SEWERS AND
WA~ SUPPLY SYSTEM
PROJECT NO. 62-08
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City or Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, this Council proposes to undertake proceedings for the
formation or a reassessment district pursuant to Resolution No. 4637,
a Resolution Directing Reassessment, adopted by this Council on
August 21, 1972;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. The proposed boundaries or said reassessment district to be
rea.ssessed in said proceedings, _are hereby described as shown on a
map of said reassessment district on file 1n the ~ffice or the City
Clerk, which indicates by a boundary line the extent or the territory
included in the proposed reasses811lellt district and which shall govern
for all details as to tht: ··extent of such dis tr1c t # reference to such
map being hereby made for particulars. Said map contains the name or

the City and a distinctive designation in words or by~number of the
district shown thereon.
2. On the cr~g1nal and at least one copy or said map the Clerk-
shall endorse her certificate evidencing the date and adoption or· this

resolut;ton. __ The Clerk shall file the original o~ such map in her
office and, wtthin 10 days after adoption ot the ~esolution f1Xing

time and place of hearing on the formation or extent or said district,
and in no event later than' 10 days prior to such hearing# shall .file
a copy thereof with the County Recorder or the County of Santa Clara
in which all of such proposed reaesessment district is located.

3. The County Recorder shall endorse on the copy ot said
map the time and date of filing and shall fasten the same securely
in a book of maps of i\ssessment ·districts which he shall keep in
his office. The County Recorder shall index such map by the name
of the entity conducting the proceedings and by the distinctive
designation of the ·district as shown on such map.
4. Atter confirmation of the reassessment by this Council,
the Clerk shall cause to be filed in the office of the Co~ty
Recorder a copy of the reassessment diagram and shall execute and
record a notice of reassessment in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of Santa Clara, such notice to be in substantially
the form provided in Section 3114 of the Streets and Highways Code.
From the date of such recording, all persons shall be deemed to
have notice of the contents of such reassessment, and each ot such
reassessments shall thereupon be a lien upon the prvperty against
which 1 t is made; and \;~~less, sooner discharged such liens shall
continue for the period of four (4) years ~from the date of said
recordation, or in the event bonds are issued to represent said
reassessments, then such liens shall continue until the expiration
of four (4) years after the due date of the 1ast installment upon
said bonds or s>f' the 1aat princ1p&'1 co~pon attached thereto.
5. The appropriate officer or officers are hereby autho-
rized to pay any and all. f'ees required by law in connection with
the above ..
