A RESOLUTIOR DESCRIBING PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF
REASSESSMEMT D~STRICT, DIRECTING FILING OF
BOURDARY MAP AND REASSESSMENT DIAGRAM. AND
THE RECORDATION OF NOTICE OF REASSESSMENT
FOOTHILLS ANNEXATION NO. 1-A
SANITARY TRUNK SEWERS AND
WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
PROJECT NO. 59-1
-RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, Calito:rnia,
WHEREAS, this Council proposes to undertake proceed1ngs tor
the formation ot a reassessment district pursuant to Resolution
No. 4638, a Resolution Directing Reassessment, adopted by this
Council on August 21;· 1972;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED; as follows:
1. The proposed boundaries ot said reassessment distri~t to
be reassessed in said proceedings, are' hereby described as shown
on a map of said reassessment district on tile in the office of
the City Clerk, which indicates by a boundary line the extent of
the territory included in the proposed reasseaaaent district and
which ahal.l govern tor a11 details aa to the extent ot such dis-
trict, reterence to such map being hereby made tor particulars.

2.· on the original and at lea.at one copy ot aa1d map the
Clerk sha11 endorse her certificate evidencing the date and adop-
tion ot this resolution. The Clerk shal1 ~ile the original of
auch map in her of'f'ice and~ within 10 da1'• atter ado-ption ot the
reaolution 1'1.xing ti• and place ot bearing on the toraation or
extent o~ said district, and in no event later than 10 days prior
to aucb hearing, shall tile a cop7 thereot with the Co1.UltY Recorder
ot the County ot Santa Clara in 11hicb all ot such p-ropoaed reasaesa-

3. The County Recorder shall endorse on the copy ot said
map the time and date of filing and shall fasten the same securely
in a book of maps of assessment districts which-he shall keep in
his office. The County Recorder shall index such map by the name
or the entity conducting the proceedings a.nd by the distinctive
designation of the district as shown on such map.
4. After confirmation of the reassessment by this Council,
the Clerk shall cause to be filed 1n the off ice of the County·
Recorde!, a copy of the re~ssesament diagram and shall execute and
record a notice of reassessment in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of Santa Clara, such notice to be in substantially
the form provided in Section 3114 ot the Streets and Highways Code.
From the date of such recording, all persons shall be deemed to
have notice of the contents of such reassessment, and each of su~h
·reassessments shall thereupon be a lien upon the property against
Which it is made, and unless sooner discharged auch 11ens ~hall

continue for the period of f'our. ( 4) years f'roa the date of said
recordation, or in the event bonds are'iaaued to represent said
reassessments, then such liena shall cantinue until the expiration
of t'our (4) years after the due date of' the 1-t installment upon
" said bonds or of the last principal coupon attached thereto.
5. '!'be appropriate officer or officers are hereby autho-
riud to pay~-and all fees required by iaw-in cormection with
the above.
