RESOLUTION NO. 4654
RESOLtrl'ION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ORDERING WEED NUISANCE ABATE!>
WHEREAS, this Council did on September 11, 1972, adopt its
Resolution No. 4653 declaring weeds to he a nuisance and setting
September 25, 1972 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall as the time and
place for a hearing of objections to the proposed destruction or-
removal of weeks; and
WHEREAS, in accordance wir..h said Resolution No. 4653, notice
of such hearing was given in the manner provided by law, as appears
from the affidavits on file_ in the Office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the
time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, no persons interested appeared or filed writt~n-
protest against said proceedings or any part thereof and all
persons desiring_ to be heard were given G&n opportlirdty to be heard,
and all matters and things pertaining to said weed abatement were
fully heard and considered by this Council.
NOW, THE!WFORE, the counci.1 of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
_ SECTION 1. That. protest a9ainst s~d wee.a -.~nt be, and
each of them is hereby overruled.
SECTION 2. That -the City's au·thorized represent~t.ive is

hereby ordered to abate such nuisance or cause thf;t saae,t9 be
abated as provided in _Chapter. 8 .. -0_8 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code
and to do all other things necessary and auth9ri~ed in-sClid Chapter.
