RESOLUTION OF 11iE COUNCIL OF 11iE CITY OF PAI.0 ALTO
COMMENDING THE OWNER OF LONDON HOUSE -ENGLISH TEA
ROOM FOR SIGNIFICANT AESmETIC AND ARCHITECTIJRAL
CONTRIBUTIONS TO nlE CITY
WHEREAS, a commercial building located at 630 Ramona Street has been remOdeled by
Doualas and Shiela Barnes into a restaurant and store, with sidewalk cafe, known as THE LONDON
HOUSE -ENGUSH TEA ROOM; and
· WHEREAS. the owners of and arcbitectt for 1lfE WNDON HOUSE worked diligently within
the City's· building controls, standards, and procedures in order to preserve and enhance the
character of Palo Alto's Civic Center District; and
'WHEREAS, Douglas and Shiela Barnes and nm ti>NooN HOU3E have made a ~t
contribution to the community atid to the ~ of the downtown b':'*ess district thereby;
