RESOLUTION OF 1HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING WALTER STROMQUIST AS A MEMBER OF THE AD
HOC ARCHITEC.WRAL DESIGN REVIEW COMMIITEE, FOR HIS
CONSCIENTIOUS AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, WALTER STROMQUIST has diligently and unselfishly contributed of his time
and talents while serving as a member of the Ad Hoc Architectural Design Review Committee
from July, 1971, to August, 1972; and
WHEREAS, WALTER STROMQUIST has worked wttiringly to assist in formulating
environmental design review controls, standards, and procedures in order to preserve and enhance
the character of PaJo Alto's physical environment; and
WHEREAS, WALTER STROMQUIST has made a significant personal contribution to the
community in assistin,g in the completion of recommendations for a viable architectural design
review process for the City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to express its appreciation to
WALTER STROMQUIST for hls outstanding efforts in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
expresses its appreciation and commends WALTER STROMQUIST for his public service.
