RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING RODNEY HEFT AS A MEMBER OF THE AD HOC
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN REVIEW COMMIITEE, FOR HIS
CONSCIENTIOUS AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, RODNEY HEFT has diligently and unselfishly contributed of his time and talents
while serving as Vice Chairman. of the Ad Hoc Architectural Design Review Committee from
June, 1971, to August, 1972; and
WHEREAS, RODNEY HEFT has worked untiringly to assist in formulating environmental
design review controlr., standards, and procedures in order to preseive and enhance the character
of Palo Alto's physical environment; and
WHEREAS, RODNEY HEFT has mad~ a significant personal contribution to the community
in assisting in the completion of recommendations for a viable architectur.111 design review process
for the City of Palo Alto;. and ·
WHEREAS, the Council of the City. of Palo Alto wishes to express its appreciation to
RODNEY HEFT for his outstanding efforts in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
expresses its appreciation and commends RODNEY HEFT for his public service.
