EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO WILLARD C. SMITII, JR. FOR.
OUl'STANDING PUBUC SERVICE
WHEREAS. WILLARD C. SMITH, JR. has served the City of Palo Alto as a member of
the Plannina Commission from July, 1969, to July, 1972; and
WHEREAS, WILLARD C. SMITH, JR. has given unaelfishly of his time and talents to lllilt·
in piding the arowth and development of the City in the best interest of the total community;
and
WHEREAS, WILLARD C. SMITII, JR. has made a signif°ICallt personal contn'bution to the
community throup hil dililent and comdmtiou1 efforts while amrq as a member of the Plannina
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wilhea to recopize the service of WILLARD C. SMITH,
JR.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
gratefully records its appreciation, u well a the lppRCiation of the citizens of this community,
for the outstandina public service rendered by WILLARD C. SMITH. JR.
