RESOLUTION NO. 4603
A RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS AND ORDERING WORK
BY FORCE ACCOUNT
GREEN ACRES I UNDERGROUND UTILITIES CONVERSION
PROJECT NO. 71-85
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHERFAS, the City Manager did, in open session on the 17th day
of May, 1972, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed pro-
posals or bids for the work to be done and improvements to be made,
as de~cribed and specified in Resolution No. 4566 of Preliminary
Determination and of Intention, adopted by this Council on the 28th
day of February, 1972, to which resolution reference is hereby made
for a de~cription of the work and improvements to be done and the
materials, supplies and equipment to be furnished therefor;
WHEREAS, said proposals or bids were over the estimates for
said work;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That said Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or
bids for the work to be done-~nd improvements to be made as described
in said proceedings and plans, and that the City itself forthwith
perform the work of construction and installation of said improve-
ments, using materials to be purchased by the City in the manner
required by City laws and Ordinances.
2. That said work shall be accomplished in accordance with
the specifications and_ plans prepared therefor and approved by this
Council, and that the cost thereof be paid from the construction
fund to be created in said special assessment proceedings.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 5th day of June , 1972, by
