RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
~OMMENDING THE OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE OF
EILEEN HANCOCK
WHEREAS, EILEEN HANCOCK has served the City of Palo Alto
as an Human Relations Commissioner from January 26, 1970 to
May 1, 1972 ;_ and
WHEREAS, EILEEN HANCOCK served as its Chairman fr~m
February 10, 1972 to May 1, 1972, guiding the Commission through
its many duties; and
WHEREAS, EILEEN RANCOCK has given unselfishly of her time
and talents during a most important period; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts and contributions of EILEEN
HANCOCK, the Human Relations Comnrl:ssion of Palo Alto has gained
recognition for new fields of endeavor; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
meritorious service of EILEEN HANCOCK;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding public service of
EILEEN HANCOCK: and records its appreciation as well as the
appreciation of the citizens of this communi·ty for the service
and contribution rendered during her term of office.
