RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO CHARLES F. STALLINGS UPON
HIS RETIREMENT
WHE~, CHARLES F. STALLINGS, retired on March 31, 1972,
afier over twenty-five years of continuous service with the
City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES F. STALLINGS, while serving as Street
Superintendent; was a major contributor in the.development of
many innovative programs; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES F. STALLINGS, has provided the City of
Palo Alto with outstanding and distinguished service and has
set a high standard for individual integrity and professional
achievement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of his performance and
dedication toward municipal service,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
C~~ty of Palo Alto gratefully-records its appreciation as well
as the appreciation of the citizens of Palo Alto for faithful
services rendered to the City and extends to CHARLES F. STALLINGS
its sincere best wishes for a long and rewarding retirement.
