RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING __ F_E_R_N_A_N_DO __ V_E_SC_IA ___ , AS A MEMBER OF
THE CITIZENS DRUG ABUSE TASK FORCE, FOR HIS/9mlk
DILIGENT .AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE IN PRODUCING
A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO COMBAT DRUG ABUSE IN THE
CITY OF PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, FERNANDO VESCIA . has voluntarily contribnted
his_Alillr efforts over a two and one half month period in order
to provide recommendations for dealing with Palo Alto's drug
problem, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to express its appreciation
Fernando Vescia for his/1-E expenditure of time,
energy and concern in the public interest,
NOW, '}'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Palo Alto that Fernando Vescia of the Citizens Drug

Abuse Task Force is hereby commended for his./}91mr diligent and
outstanding public service in producing a comprehensive plan to
combat drug abuse in the City of Palo Alto.
