RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO WILLIAM F. POWERS FOR
OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SE~VICE AS A MEMBER OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, WILLIAM F. POWE.RS has served the City of Palo Alto
as a member of the Planning Commission from December, 1971, to
D,ecember, 1973; and -
WHEREAS, WILLIAM F. POWERS has given unselfishly of his
time and talents to assist in quidinq the growth and development.
of the City in the best interest of the total communityc and ·
WHEREAS, WILLIAM F. POWERS has made a significant personal
contribution to the commuili_ty through his diligent and conscientious
efforts while serving as a member of the Planning Commission* ·and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to recoqn.ize the service
of WILLIAM ~·. POWERS:
NOW, THEREFORE# BE IT BESOL\i.ED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation, as well
as the appreciation of the citizens of this community, for the
outstanding public service rendered by WILLIAM F. POWERS.
