RESOLUTION OP THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OP PALO ALTO
CONGRHULATING CUBBERLEY HIGH SCHOOL FOR ITS UN-
DEPEATED FOOTBALL SEASON
WHEREAS, the foot.Dall teasn of CUbbe:rley High .School completed
a spectacular football season with a perfect record --ita first
undefeated season in the school's 17-year histOJYJ and
WHEREAS, CUbberley won its fourth South Peninsula Athletic
League Football Championship
coach John Second: and
its second in four seasons under
WHEREAS, Cubberley now moves 011 to the central Coast Section
playoff, playing the titlist of the Santa Clara Val1ey Athletic
Leaque on November 30, 1973;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The City Council of Palo Alto conC]ratulates Cubberley
Sigh School, its fine football squad and outstanding coaching
staff foz: _their perfect season, _and wishes them the best of luck
in the upcoming Central Coast Section playoffs.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail copies of
this resolution to Dr. Berman Ohme, Principal of Cubberley High
School, and to Mr. John Second, the head football c:oacli.
