RESOLUTION NO. 4847
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING CARLA VESPE AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO
ALTO COMMUNITY DRUG ABUSE BOARD FOR HER CONSCIENTIOUS
AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, CARLA VESPE has diligently and unselfishly
contributed of her time and talents while serving as a member
of the Palo Alto Community Drug Abuse Board: and
WHEREAS, CARLA VESPE has worked untiringly towards
the end of alleviating the damage caused by the drug abuse
problem in ou.: connuunityJ and ·
WHEREAS, during her tenure as a board member, CARLA VESPE
had served as Chairwoman, guiding the board through its many
tasks; and
WHEREAS, CARLA VESPE has made a significant personal
contribution to the community by assisting in the formulation
of strong-based and farsighted policy1 and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to
express its appreciation to CARLA VESPE for her outstand-
ing efforts in the public interest1
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of th-3
City of Palo Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and com-
mends CARLA VESPE for her public service as a member of
the Palo Alto Commwilty Drug Abuse Board.
