RESOLUTION NO. 484f,
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING BETTY LIN AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ALTO
COMMUNITY DRUG ABUSE BOARD FOR HER CONSCIENTIOUS
AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, BETTY LIN has diliqently and unselfishly
contributed of her time and talents while serving as a member
of the Palo Alto Community Drug Abuse Boardf and
WHEREAS, BETTY LIN has worked.untiringly towards
the nnd of alleviating the damage caused by the drug abuse
problem in our communityJ and
WHEREAS, BETTY LIN has made a significant personal
contribution to the conununity by assisting in the formulation
of strong-based and farsighted policy1 and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to
express its appreciation to BETTY LIN for her outstanding
efforts in the public interestr
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and com-
mends BETTY LIN for her public service as a member of the
Palo Alto Community Drug Abuse Board.
