RESOLUTION NO. 4843
RESOLUTION OF TH~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING PHILLIP BLISS AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO
ALTO COMMUNITY DRUG ABUSE BOARD FOR HIS CONSCIENTIOUS
AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, PHILLIP BLISS has diligently and unselfishly
contributed of his time and talents while serving as a member
of the Palo Alto community Drug Abuse Board1 and
WHEREAS, PHILLIP BLISS has worked untiringly towards
the end of alleviating the damaqe caused by the drug abuse
problem in our community: and
WP'EREAS, PHILLIP .BLISS has made a significant personal
contribution to the community by assisting in the formulation
of strong-based and farsighted policyi and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to
express its appreciation to PHILLIP BLISS for his outstand-
ing efforts in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and com-
mends PHILLIP BLISS for his public service as a member of
the Palo Alto CC>mmunity Drug Abuse Board.
