RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING RESOLUTION 4628 TO CHANGE SECTION 2.D. OF
THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES
TO PROVIDE FOR THE CITY OF PALO ALTO EMPLOYEES'
HEALTH PLAN
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fol-
SECTION l. Resolution No. 4F.28 adopted July 24, 1972,
establishing a Compensation Plan for Fire Department personnel
for fiscal years 1972-1973 and 1973-1974, is hereby a-~ended
to change Section 2. D. C-1 Group Insurance") of said Compensation
Plan to read as follows:
"D. Group Insurance
The City will make the following contributions on
behalf of personnel who are eligible for coverage under
various group plans arranged by the City:
1. Effective Pa~ Period l -l973L74 FY
Blue Croas or
City Health Plan Kaiser

2. Effective Pay Period 1 -1974/75 FY
In addition to the amounts indicated above, the
City will assume so• of any premium rate increase
on the Kaiser Pl1m and apply an equivalent amount
to the city contribution fQr the City Bealth Plan.
3. Dental Insurance
100' of the employae coverage premium.
4. Basic Life Insurance
100% of the premi~m."

SECTION 2. Except as amended by Saction l above, said
Resolution No. 4628 and Compensation Plan shall remain in full
force and effect as oriqinally.adopted.
