RESOLUTION NO. 4825
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO AI·TO
ADOPTING AN EXPENSE ALLOWANCE SCHEDULE FOR MEMBERS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL, ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD,
HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION, ANO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, memb6:s of the City Council, Architectural Review
Board, Human Relations Commission, and Planning Coinmission regularly
incur substantial inc-:,dental expenses for local mileage, telephone
calls, paperworx,. ani the like in their service to the City1 and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that such expenses total $6 per pay
period for members of the City Council and $25 per month for mem-
bers of the Architectural Review Bo~rd, Human Relations Commission,
and Planning Commission if averaged over an extended period of
time1
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE .as follows:
SECTIOU 1. The Council hereby authorizes the payment of
f ollowinq expense allowances to each lllelQber of the designated
group without submittal of a payment request:
City Council $6 per p-ey period .
Architectural Review Board $25 per month
Human Relations Commission $25 per month
Planning Ccmmda•ion $25 per month
SECTlON 2. Th• Council nereby directs staff to work with
