RESOLUTION NO. 4824
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ORDERING WEED NUISANCE ABATED
WHEREAS, this Council did on September 11, 1973, adopt its
Resolution No.4823 declaring weeds-to be a nuisance a.nd setting . .
S~ptember 24, 1973, at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall as the time and
place for a hearing of objections to the proposed destruction or
removal of weeds; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution No.4823 , notice
of such hearing was given in the manner provided by law, as appears
from the affid~vits on file in the Office o~ the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the
time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, ~persons interested appeared or filed written
protest against said proceedings or any part thereof and all
persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be-heard,
and all matters and things pertaining to said weed abatement were
fully hear and considered by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That protest against said weed abatement be, and
each of them is hereby overruled.
-SECTION 2. That the City's authorized representative is hereby
ordered to abate SJJCh nuisan<.:e or cause the same to be abated as
provided in Chapter 8.08 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code and to do
all other things necessary and authorized in said Chapter.
