RESOLUTION NO. 4805
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO H. M. WITBECK UPON HIS
RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, H. M. WITBECK retired on August 5, 1973, after
more than twenty-five years of service with the City of Palo Alto
as the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, H. M. WITBECK has undertaken his tasks with
enthusiasm and, because of his strong sense of responsibility,
his accomplishments will remain for the enrichment of this
comn:.unity; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo is proud of his
accomplishments and his devotion to his work; and
WHERE.AS, under his leadership the Public Works Department
has made significant contributions to the needs of this community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto qrateft:.lly records its appreciation as well as the
appreciation of the residents of Palo Alto for the faithful
service rendered to the City and extends to H. M. WITBECK its
best wishes for a long and rewardinq retirement.
