RESOLUTION NO. 4799
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ORDERING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC UTILITIES
EASEMENTS IN TRACT 422, COLO.RADO PARK NO. 2
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto to vacate certain public utilities easements in the
City of Palo Alto, county of Santa Clara, State of California, as
described in EXHIBIT "A,r. attached hereto, and as shown on a map
'!larked EXHIBIT "B," attached hereto, both exhibits by reference
being made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
find that the aforesaid easements have not been used for the purpose
for which they were dedicated or acquired for five (5) consecutive
years next preceding the date ~f this resolution; and
WHEREAS, from all the evidence sub:nitted to the Council of
the City of Palo Alto, it is found that said easements as described
herein are unnecessary for present or prospective public utilities
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION l. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 50443 of
the Government Ce>ee of the State of California, the.Council of the
City of Palo Alto does hereby order that aaid eaaementa aa de-
sc~ibed herein be, and hereby are, vacated.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cau•• a certified copy ot
thi• resolution to be recorded in the off ice of the county Re-
corder of Santa Clara County.

DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENTS IN
TRACT 422, COLORADO PARK NO. 2,
TO BE ABANDONED BY THE
CITY OF PALO ALTO:
PARCEL I
•
A S-foot wide strip of land lying adjacent to and
southeasterly of the northwesterly line of "Tract
No. 422, Colorado Park No. 2," which map was re-
corded on April 14, 1947, in Book 13 of Maps,
paqe 15, records of Santa Clara county, California,
and extending from the southwesterly line of Lot
36 to the northeasterly line of Lot 48 as said
lots are shown on said above-mentioned map.
PARCEL II
A 5-foot wide strip of land lying adjacent to and
southerly of the northerly line of Lot 36 as said
lot is shown on that certain map of Tract No. 422
hereinabove ref erred to and extending from the
northwesterly line of said Lot 36 to the most
easterly curved line of said lot.
