RESOLUTION NO. 4777
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
FINDING THAT 90 PERCENT OR MORE OF ITS SELECT SYSTEM
OF CITY STREETS HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto has filed and amended from tim~
to ~ime its report and map indicating its select sy~tern of city streets
as required under Section 186.3 and Section 2106 of the Streets and
Highways ·code; and
WHEREAS~ the Manager of Public Works Engineering of the City of
Palo Alto has reported to the City Council that 90 percent or more of
its select system of city streets, as most recently approved by the
Department of Public Works of the State of California, has been con-
structed;
NOW, THERE~ORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that 90
percent or more of its select system of city streets has been con-
structed. This finding is made pursuant to Section 186.3 of the Streets
and Highways Code to permit monies received under Section 2106 of the
Streets and Highways Code to be expended for construction or rights of
way on any city street.
SECTION 2. As required by said Section 186.3, in the event that
the total mileage of streets in the city increases by more than 10
percent, this finding will be reevaluated by the Manager of Public
Works Engineering of the City and this Council.
