ORIGINAL RFSOLUT!ON NO. 4776 ----- RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING SCHEDULES S-l, s-1-0, s-2, AND s-2-0 AND RESCINDING SCHEDULE S-1-A (SEWER RATES) OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO UTILITIES RATES AND CHARGES The Council of the City of Palo Alto does .~:~SOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. Pursua.nt to Section 12. 20. 010 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, the following schedules are hereby amended to read as shown on the sheets designated and attached hereto: Schedule S-1 Utility Rate Schedule -Domestic Shee:t 12le Sewage Collection and Disposal Schedule S-1-0 Utility Rate Schedule -Domestic Sheet 122e Sewage Collection and Disposal Schedule S-2 Utility Rate Schedule -Corn-Sheet 123e mercial Sewage Collection and Disposal Schedule~S-2-0 Utility Rate Schedule -Corn. Sheet 124d rnercial Sewage Collection and Disposal SECTION 2. Utili~y Rate Schedule 5-1-A -Domestic Sewage Collection and Disposal, being Sheet 121.1 cf the Palo Alto Utilities Rates and Charges, is hereby rescinded. SECTION 3. TERRITORY: Within the incorpcrated limits of the City of Palo Alto and on land owned or leased by the City. RATES: Per Month Each domestic dwelling unit • • . • • • • • . • • $2.50 SPECIAL NOTES: An occupied domestic dwelling is designat~d as any house, cottage, flat, duplex unit, or apartnient unit having kitchen, bath, and sleeping facilities and to which utilities services are being rendered. Any dwelling unit not being individually served by gas or electric meter will be considered as continuously occupied. SPECIAL NOTES: Per Month $4.25 $3.00 An occupied domestic dwelling is designated as any house, cottage, flat, duplex unit or apartment unit having kitchen, bath, and sleeping facilities and to which utilities services are being rendered. Any dwelling unit not being individually served by gas or electric meter will be considered as continuously occupied. TERRITORY: Within the incorporated limits of the City of Palo Alto and on land owned or leased by the C.ity. RATES: Minimum Charge per Connection per Month . $3.75 Quantity Rates: Based on Metered Water, per 100 Cubic feet $0.15 SPECIAL NOI'ES: u~~n application from establishments maintaining extensive irrigated landscaping, the monthly charge will be based upon the average water usage for the months of December, January and February. Sewage metering facilities may be required, in which case service will be governed by terms of a special agreement.
