RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSINt SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF HOWARD A. ZINK
WHEREAS, HOWARD A. ZINK, retired Police Chief for the City of
Palo Alto, passed away on June 13, 1973 after serving the City of
Palo Alto for twenty-seven years and retired for almost twenty-
two years; and
WHEREAS, during his career with the City of Palo Alto, HOWARD
A. ZINK helped to establish the high standards and respect the Palo
Alto Police Department now enjoys; and
WHEREAS, HOWARD A. ZINK will be remembered in the community
for his strength of character and fairness with which he dealt with
all people.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation for service
to the City and extends to Mrs. Zink and family its deep regrets
for the loss of this outstanding past employee and citizen.
