RESOLUTION NO. 4755
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENDING THE CONSCIENTIOUS AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE OF RAY L. WILBUR
WHEREAS, RAY L. WILBUR has diligentiy and unselfishly contr:!-
buted of his time and talents while serving the City of Palo Alto
as a Human Relations Commissioner from the· inception of the Com-
mission in 1963 to April 23, 1973; ·served·· as its Chairman from
June 15, 1972, to April 23, 1973, guiding the Commission in its
efforts in facilitating improved human relations in the camnunity:
and
WHEREAS, RAYL. WILBUR has made a· significant personal con-
tribution to the community by assisting in the formulation of
farsighted, substantive programs and policy: and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
conscientious and meritorious service of RAY L. WILBUR;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding public service of
RAY L. WILBUR and records its appreciation as well as the appreci-
ation of the citizens of this community for the service and con-
tribution rendered during his te:mi of office.
