RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMEHOING JOHN JOHNSON AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO ~
COMMUNITY DRUG ABUSE BOARD FOR HIS CONSCIENTIOUS
ANO OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, JOHN JOHNSON has diligently and unselfishly.contri-
buted of his time and talents while serving as a member of the
Palo Alto Citizens Task Force on Drug Abuse and the Palo Alto
Conanunity Drug Abuse Board from October 12, 1971 to March 28,
19731 and
WHEREAS, JOHN JOHNSON has worked untiringly towards tha end
of alleviating the damage caused by the drug abuse problem in
our community; and
WHEREAS, JOHN JOHNSON has made a· significant personal.. contri-
bution to the community by assisting in the formulation of strong-
based and farsighted policy; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to
express its appreciation to JOHN JOHNSON for his outstanding ef-
forts in the public interest:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and commends JOHH
JOHNSON for his public service as a member of .the Palo Alto
community Drug~use Board.
