RESOLUTION NO. 4743
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO WILLIAM POWERS FOR HIS
OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE
PALO ALTO HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto did appoint on
February 2, 1972 a Housing Advisory Committee for Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Advisory committee did mee\; in regular
sessions from March, 1972 through January, 19731 and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM POWERS did diligently and unselfishly
contribute his individual time and ta.ents while serving as a
member of the Housing Advisory Committee; and
Wlll!REAS, WILLIAM POWJ::RS did make a significant personal
contribution to the community by partlcipating in the work of
the Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to.
express its appreciation to WILLIAM POWERS for his outstanding
service in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED t.hat the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby expresses its appreciation and commends
WILLIAM POWERS for serving as a member of tjle Palo Alto Housing
Advisory Committee.
