COMMENDING RAYMOND LA StlRE AS A MEMBER OF THE PALO .._, .
ALTO COMMUNITY DRUG ABUSE BOARD FOR HIS •CONSCIENTIOUS
AND OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHE~EAS, RAYMOND LA SURE has diligently and ·~nselfishly
eontributed"of his time and talents while serving as a member of
the Palo Alto Citizens Task Force on Drug Abuse an8 the Palo Alto
Communit~,r Drug Abuse Board from October 12, !971 to Ji.ugust 28,
1972; and
WHEREAS, ~YMOND LA"1suRE has worked. untiringly towards the '-"'
end of alleviating the dcuna~e caused by the drug abuse problem in
our community; and

Contribution to the CODUllunity by assisting in the formulation Of
strong-based and farsighted policy; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to ex-

efforts in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE,_ BE IT RESOLVED that the Council Of the City
of Po.lo Alto hereby expresses its app:-eciation and commends
