-RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMW::NDING CHARLES SCHULZ AS A MEMBER O~ THE PALO
ALTO CO~iMUNITY DRUG ABUSE BOARD FOR HIS CONSCIENTIOUS
AND OU~STANDI~~ PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, CHARLES SCHULZ has di·1·iqently and unselfishly contri-
buted of his time and talel'.ts while serving as a member of the
Palo Alto Citizens Ta~k Force on Drug Abuse and the Palo Alto
Community Drug Abuse Board fran October 12, 1971 to January 31,
19731 and
WHEREAS, CHARLES SCHULZ has worke:l '1ntirinqly towards the end
of alleviating the damage caused by the druq abuse proble~ in
our conununity; anci
WHEREAS, CHARLES SCHULZ has made a siqnificant personal contri-
bution to the conununity by assisting in the formulation of strong-
based and farsighted policy1 and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to
express its appreciation to CHARLES. ,SCHULZ for ~is putstanding
efforts int~~ pubi~r,interest1
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P.ESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby expr~ases i:\..s agpreciation and commends CHARLES
SCHULZ for his public servic~ as a membex of the Palo Altc community
Drug Abuse Board.
