RESOLUTION . NO: 3689
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO
ALTO ORDERING WEED NUISANCE ABATED
The Council of th e City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Res olution No. 3681 of this C ouncil
orde ring same, notice has been duly give n that this is the time
and pla ce set for the hearing of objectio ns to the pr oposed des-

truction or removal of weeds; and •
WHEREAS, all persons interested were given an opportunity •
to be heard, an d all matt ers p ertaining to said destruction or
•
remova l of weeds we re fully hea rd and considered by this Council,
•
and no objectio ns have been received;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the Superinte nd ent of •
Pu blic Works (City:Enginee r) shall abate s uh public nuisance of
•
we eds, as declar ed in Re solu tion 3681, by having said weeds destroy ed •
or removed, and any proper ty owner shall have the right to destory
or remove such we eds himself, or have the same destroyed or removed
at his own ex pen se, pro vided that su ch weeds shall hav e be en removed
prior to the arrival of the City Engineer or his a uthorized
represen tative to remove them.
