A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY. APPROVAL OF ENGINEER'S REPORT
ENCINA AVENUE - PROJECT NO..63-4
RESOLVED, by the Co uncil of the City of Palo Alto, Califor nia, that
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of. July, 1963, said Council did adopt its
Resolution No, 3639, A Resol ution of Preliminary Det ermi natio n and of
In tention to construct impro vements in said City, 'and did refe r the pro-
posed improve ments to the City E ngi neer, he bei ng the officer ha ving
charge and con trol of the const ruction of public impro veme nts in a nd •for
sa id City of the kind described ther ei n a nd being a competent pe rs on
em ployed by said City for that purpose, a nd did therein di rect said City
Engin eer to' make and file with the City Clerk of this City a repo rt in
writing, all as therein mor e particu larly desc ribed, u nd er a nd pursu ant
to the Palo Alto Improvemen t Procedu re Code;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer has made and filed with the City Clerk
of this City. the r eport in writing ae called for in s aid Resolution of
Preliminary Determination and of Intention and under'and p ursu ant to
said Code, which report has be en presen ted to this Council fo r co n-
sideration; an d
WHEREAS, sa id Cou ncil has du ly considered said repor t and each and
every part ther eof, an d finds that each and ever y pa rt of said report•
is sufficient, an d that said r eport, nor an y par t thereof requires or
should be modified in any respect;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the plan s and specification s for the propo sed impr ov e-
ments to be m ade, contain ed in said report, be, and they are her eby,
preliminar ily approved a nd con fir med,
2. That the Engin eer 's estima te of the itemized an d to tal casts
an d expenses of said improvemen ts and of the inciden tal expenses in
con nection'' therewith, contained in said report, be, an d each of them
ar e her eby, prelimin arily approved and confirmed.

3. Th at the diag ra m -hawing the ass essment district refe rred to
and described in said, Resolutio n of Preliminary Determi nation and of
Intention, and also the boundaries and dimensio ns of the reeapeoti ve
subdivisions of land within said assess ment district as the same existed
at the time of the passage of said Resolution of Preliminary Dete rmina-
tion and of Intentio n, each of which s ubdivisio ns have bee n give n a
separate number upon said diagram,, as co ntained i nacid report, be, and
it is Heereby, pr eliminarily approved and confi rmed.
4. That the proposed assessment upon the several subdi visions of
land in said assessment district in proportio n to the estimated be nefits
to be received by such subdivisions, respecti vely, from said improve-
ments, and of the inoidental expenses the reof, as co ntained in said
report, be, and they are hereby, prelimina rily approved and confirmed.
5. That said report shall sta nd as the Engi neer's report for the
purpose of all subsequ ent pr oceedings had pursuant to s aid Resol utio n
of Preliminary Dete rmina tion and of Intention.
