WHEREAS, no written or oral protests or objections .against
said aesessmen te'for `sidewalk repair were pr aented before or at
the time fixad'for hearing, and the Coun cil hav ing duly c onsidered
said report and assessment list;
NUA, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
resolves, finds and determines as follows ,..,
1. That said assessment list is,in all respects co mplete
amd entr eut and is her eby confirmed, and bit since the filing
thereof, no assessments ha ve been paid.
2. That for a particu lar descr iption of the lots bear ing
t ! ,rt $Pective asaeaement numbers set forth in sa id a sse ssment list
and upo n which assessments rema in unpaid, se verally and respec tive)',
refere nce is hereby made to the a ssessment list a ttache d here to
and .made a part. hereof marked EXHIBIT A.

3. That the u npaid assessments, as sh ow n on said list
and determined by said Council, shall . c onstit ute a special
assessment against su ch respe ctiv e lots or parcels of land
shawls therein and shall ' const=itute 'a lien against su ch property
for the amount of such assessments until paid. The Assessor
sha ll extend and enter the amounts of su ch assessments against
the respective parcels of land upon the 1963-1964 ta x roll,
upo n which general municip al t axes are to be collected, and th ey
shall be pa yable with the first installment of said taxes and
the City Tax Collector (City Tre asurer) sh all include the s ame
on the bills fo r such taxe s. 'Thereafter, "such amounts shall be
co llected at the sa me time and in the' same manner as gene ral
city tax es a re collected and shall be s ubject to the. s ame inter est
and penalties and the same procedu re and sale in case of delinquency .
All law s and ordinan ces applicable to the levy, collection and
enfo rcement of city taxes are hereby made applicable to such
special assessments.
