RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO . 3530
The Cou ncil of the City of P al o Alt o RESOLVES as foll ows:
WHEREAS, Section 11004 of the Business and P rofessions Code
of the State of Califo rnia provides that a c ommunity ap artm ent
pr oje ct in which an undivided interest in the land is c oupl ed
with the right of exclusive occupancy of any apartment l ocated
thereo n is subject to the provisions of the Subdivision M ap Act
of the State of Ca lifornia; and
WHEREAS, the Attorney General has ruled th at said ;;actio n
and the pro visions of the Subidivisi on Map Act apply with eq ual
fo rce to so-called co ndominiu m or vertic al subdivision; and
WHEREAS, a subdivision map designat ed as Tract N o. 3570
Condo miniu m Subdivision of Medical Building, 3501, 3505, 3507,
3517. 3521 and 3525 Alma Street being Lots 12, 13 and 14, Block 5,
Tract $00 Stanford Univer sity Villa Tract, Palo Alto, C alifornia,
prepared by Charles S. McCandless, Consulting Enginee rs, Pal o
Alto, California received by the Enginee rin g De partment of the
City of Palo Alto July 16, 1963, has been submitted to the City
fo r its approval; a nd
WHEREAS, the Plan ning Co mmission of the City of Palo Alto has
heretofore approved sa id subdiv isio n ma p a nd has recommended that
it be approve d by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it reso lv ed tha t that cer tain subdivision
map designated as Tract No. 3570 Condo minium Subdivision of Medica l
Building be a nd it is here by approve d.
