RESOLUTION OF T HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO CON-
SENTING TO THE C HANGE IN BOUNDARY LINE B ETWEEN THE
C OUNTY OF SAN MAT EO AND T HE C OUNTY OF SANTA CLARA
WHEREAS, City owns certai n land within th e boundaries of the County
of San Mateo as mo re p articularly described in EX HIBIT A attached hereto
and ma de a parthereof` and
WH EREAS, City desires to petition the Boards of Supervisors of th e
Cou nties of Santa. Clara and San M ateo for a change in the boundary Lures
betweer sa id comities to transfer said t er ritory from the County of San
Mateo to the Co ?tnty of Santa Clara pursuant to the provisions of Sections
23200-23224 of the Government Co de as amended by Chapter 101 Statutes
1963.
NOW TH EREFORE BE IT RESO LVED by the Council of the City of
Palo Alto:
1. That the CSty of Palo Alto as owner of the property described in
EXHIBIT A hereby conse nts to the transfer of sa id pr operty from
the Cou nty of Sa n Mate o to the County of Santa Clara and to the
proposed 'ha nge in boundary line.
2. Tha t the Mayor be and he hereby is au tho rized and directed to sign
a pe tition re que sting such transfe r for and in be ha lf of the City
a nd to execute such other do cuments as may be necessar y to co m-
plete su ch, tr ansfer.
