A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 3633
PORTIONS OF FOOTHILLS ANNEXATION NO. 3
SANITARY TRUNK SEWERS AND WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
PROJECT NO. 62-8
RESOLVED, by the Co uncil of the City of Palo Alto, C alifornia,
tha t
WHEREAS, this Co uncil did, on May 28, 1963, adopt its Resolu-
tion of In tention No. 3633 to acqui re and co nst ruct p ublic imp rove-
ments in an d for said City;
WHEREAS, on May 28, 1963, this Co uncil adopted a resol ution
a ppointin g time and place of hea ring protests in r elation to the
proposed aqu isitions and improvem ents and directing notice;
WHEREAS, n otice was given of' the time a nd place therein
sta ted in the manner prov ided by law, as appe ars from the affi-
dav its on file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly fo r hea ring at the
time therein fix ed; and
WHEREAS, all written pr otests an d other written communica-
tion s were pu blicly read at said meeting and all persons desi rinss
to be heard were fu lly heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT 13 ORDERED, as follows
1. That written protests again st said acquisitions an d
improvements signed by the owner s of a major ity or more of the
a rea of the lands within the assessment district, or of the area
of the lands within the assessment district a ssessed for the costs
an d ex penses of said w ork, wer e not filed with the City Cler k at
or before the time set for hear in g.
2. That said pr otests be, an d each of them are hereby,
ov erruled.
