6. Said ,Oounoil doe hereby adopt and establish se the official
grades for sa id work the gra des and elevations to be show n upon s aid
plans, profiles and specifications. All euab zedes and ele vations
are to be in feet and decimals thereof with reterenee to the datum
plans of the City of Palo Alto.
7. Notice is hereby given of the feet that in ma ny cases said
w or k and improvementwill bring the finished work to a grade different
from that formerly existing, and that to said extent said grades are
hereby changed and that said work will be done to said *hanged grades .
8. The descriptions of the acquisitions and improv em ents and the
termin i of the w ork contained in this lesolution are genera l in n ature.
All items of wor k do' riot necessarily extend for the full league of the
description thereof. The pla ns and profiles of the wor k an d the maps
and desor iption s of the soqu i;l tions, as contained in the I c nsir's
.report, shall be oontrolling as to the cornet and detailed descr iption
thereof.
9. The City willcontribute the costs involved in the items
iden tified in su bparagraphs We nd (a) Of' 1 of this Asugu-•
