ADOPTING AND SU TU G' A BUDGET

WHEREAS, a Mast er Agreement for the BuCgeti ng and
Expenditure of the E ngineering Allocati on under Secti on
2107.5 of the Streets and Highways Code has bee n entered
into by the City of Palo Alt o, hereinafte r ref erred to as
the city, and the State Department of P ublic Works, Divi-
sion of Highways, hereinafter referred to as the d epart-
ment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a budget pro-
posal showing estimated expenditures of s uch funds recom-
mended to be made during the 1963-1964 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard re ad s aid budg et
proposal an d is familiar with the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it reso lved by the City Co uncil of
the City of Palo Alto that said budget proposal dated
February x9,, 1960 , be and is hereby ad opted
as the budget of proposed ex pe nditures of the State allocated
funds for engineering to cities, said budget pro posal to
be an d the same is hereby appr oved and the Mayor is hereby
directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, a nd
said bu dget proposal to be submitted to the Department of
Public Wo rks, State of Ca liforn ia, in accorda nce with the
pro visions of Sec tion 197 of the Str eets and Highways Code.
