C ouncil, the se ver al lots represented by said assessme nt numbers being
so numbered and designated upon said diagram and assessme nt as so con-
firmed and reco rded, seve rally and respecti vely.
3. The unpaid list is in the amo unt of $110,842.64 and bonds shall
be issued upon the sec urity of said unpaid assessments in the amount of
$114,842.64 in accordance with the pro visio ns of Bond Plan B of Article
3, Chapte r 6 of Ordinance No . 1928 adopted by the City Council of s aid
City on April 11, 1960, e ntitled "Palo Alto Imp ro vement Procedur e Code",
and un der and pursuant to the provisions of said Resolutio n of Prelimin-
ary Determination and of I ntention a nd the proceedings thereunder d uly
ha d and taken ; that said bonds shall be one h undred ele ve n (111) in
num ber , shall be dated February 15, 1963, and b ear interest f rom their
date at the r ate of not to exceed six per cent (6%) per annum, a nd the
denomin ation of said bon ds with their respective numbe rs a nd dates of
maturity are as show n on Exhibit "B" hereto attached and made a part
hereof by refer en ce.
4. Said bonds shall be iesued in ser ies, and the unpaid assess-
ments as shown on said list filed with the City Treas urer of s aid City
an d deter min ed by said Coun cil, together with the interest thereon, shall
remain and con stitute a tr ust fund for the redem ption and payme nt of
said bon ds and of the interest which may be du e thereon , which u npaid
a ssessnente shall be taxable in ann ual ser ies corresponding in number
to the nu mber of series of bon ds issued, an d an ann ual propor tion of
each aseessment shall be pa yable in each year preceding the date of the
maturity for each of the several bonds issu ed, and su ch proportion of
each assessmen t coming due it, any year, together with the a nnual interest
thereon , shall in turn be paya ble in installm ents as the general taxes
of said City on re al proper ty ar e payable, and shall become delinqu en t
at the same time an d in the sam e pr oportionate amoun ts an d bear the same
proportionate penalties for delinquen cy.
5. Said bonds shall be signed by the City Clerk an d City Treasurer
or bear the engrav ed, printed or lithographed signature of said Tr ea sure r,

a nd the offici al seal of s aid City shall be affixed thereto. The
interest coupons affixed the reto shall be signed by said T reasur er or
bea r his engra ved, printed or lithographed sig nature; and such signing
and sealing of said bonds by said officers and signing of said c oupons
by said Treasu re r shall constitute and be a sufficient and binding
execution of each and e very o ne of s aid bo nds and all of the coupons
thereon respectively . Said bonds shall be s ubstantially in the form
set forth in Bond Plan B of said Impro ve ment Procedure Code. Said
