follows:
WHIIilS, it is the duty of the City Clerk to conduct
municipal elections; and
WKIRBAS, the services of an election •pecialist are
necesaary .for cunducting said elections;
NOw, l'HIIDOU, the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
hire the services of H. P. Sullivan, le&istrar of Voters of the
County of Santa Clara, to aid in the conduct of the aeneral
m\L.1icipal election to be held. on May 11, 1965 in the· City of Palo
Alto such services to be of such nature aa said lt.eaistrar of
Voters is n6t oth•rwise· required by law to perform and the
City Controller is authorized and directed to pay the costs of
said services.
