A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION
NO. 3741, A RESOLUTION 0P PRELIMINARY DETER-
MINATION AND OF INTENTION AS MODIFIED
MISCELLANEOUS STREETS IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 62-5
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, this Council did, on June 3, 1964, adopt its
Resolution No. 3741, A Resolution of Preliminary Determination
and of Intention, to acquire and construct public improvements
in and for said City.
WHEREAS, on August 10, 1964, this Council adopted a res-
olution appointing time and place of hearing proteata in rela-
tion to the proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing
notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein
stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the
affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter cause on regularly for hearing at the
timetherein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written proteata and other written communi-
cationa were publicly read at said meeting and all persons
desiring to be heard were fully heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That written protests against the following portions
of said acquisitions and improvements signed by the ownera of
a majority or more or the area of the lands within the said
portions, respectively, of the assessment district, were not
filed with the City Clerk at or before the time set for hearing:
a, West Bayshore Frontage Road
b. Diablo Way
0. Homer Avenue
d. Maybell Way
•
2. That eald protests be, and each of thus are hereby,
overruled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 26th day of October, 1964, by the following
vote of the members thereof:
