THE FRE OPfl FIRE DISTRICT (SAN FRANCISQUITO ANNEXATION) BECAUSE of ITS ANNEXATION TO AND INCLUSION WIWIN THE CITY O' PALO ALTO The Council of the City of'.Pa10 Alto does RESOLVE as follears: Algumu, That the property described in BXHIEIT A attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof has by annex- ation affective June 22, 1964 become a part of the City of Palo Alto, said poition being in the County of Santa Clara, State of California. ,SECTION 2, That such property is hereby withdrawn from the Fremont Fire District pursuant to the provisions of Section 14540 of the Health and Safety Code.. § TI0N'3, That the City Clerk be and she hereby is authorised and directed to transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors , the County Assessor of Sante Clara County and the State Board of Equalisation. INTRODUCED AND PASSED: .August 24, 1964, by unantnnoue veote. • • • !� SAN FRANCISQUITO ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO All that certain real property situated in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, and bounded by the following described line: Beginning at a point marked by an iron pipe on the common corner of the former Greer, Seale and Faber Tracts, said point being also the most Westerly corner of that certain 23. 40 -acre, more or less, tract of land shown upon a map entitled "Geng Annexation to the City of Palo Alto," which map was filed for record with the Secretary of State on December 27, 1956, said point being also a point on the former boundary line between Santa Clara County and San Mateo County; thence N. 55° 09' W. 158. 36 feet to a point at Station 67 ' 25. 06 as shown upon a map entitled "MAP AND GENERAL CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF ZONE NW -1 "NORTHWEST", PROJECT NO. 2, SAN FRANCISQUITO CREEK IMPROVEMENT FROM BA.YSHORE HIGHWAY TO SAN FRANCISCO BAY, SANTA CLARA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DIS- TRICT, SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA," dated September, 1958, said last-named point being on the center line of the above -mentioned San Francis- quito Creek and on the boundary line between San Mateo County. as established by Ordinance No. 1619 of said county, dated October 15, 1963 and Santa Clara County as established by Ordinance No. N -S 3.4 of said county, dated October 25. 1963; thence along said last-named boundary line, which line is also the corporate limits line of the City of Palo Alto, in a generally Southwesterly direction to the point of beginning, containing 1, 455, 2 acres, more or less.
