NOW 1 mEUFORE, be it resolved ttt.t the Council of the City
of Palo Alto doee hereby order that saia property as described
herein and in·said Resolution No. 3718 is hereby abandoned subject
to the reservation of said easements unto the City of Palo Alto,
its successors and assigns, and subject to the payment of all
costs of abandonment.

entf.tled "Tract No. 19, Mayview Homeaites" recordecl December 7,
1931 in Book uyu of Maps at pages 46 and 47, Recorda of Santa
Clara County, California, which lies within the boundariea of that
certain parcel of real property conveyed by the Deed from Murray
Weir Rich, et al. to the City of Palo Alto, for uee aa a public
road and highway, which said Deed was dated November 27, 1953,
and recordea April 1, 1954, in Book 2845 of Official Records,
Page 155, Recorda of Santa Clara County, California, which por
tion is more particularly described aa followe:
BEGINNING at the most Southerly corner of Lot 14 and running thence
along the Southweaterly line of aaid lot North 51°43' Welt 39.88'
to the most Westerly corner of said lot; thence North 38°17' Eaat
along the Northwesterly line of said lot 25.oo•; thence leaving
said line and running Scuth 51°43' East and parallel to the South·
westerly line of said lot, 15.27'; thence Southe<erly 31.71'
along an arc of 100.00' radius tangent to the precedinf course
and curving to the right through a central angle of 18 10' to a
point on the Southeasterly line of said lot; thence South 56°27'
