841 ALMA STREET (SUBSTATION SITE)
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follo~:
SECII2H 1, That the Council of the City of Palo Alto bas
found and determined, and hereby does find, detemine and declare,
that the public interest and necessity require the acquisition,
construction and completion by the City of Palo Alto of the
improvement, to wit: electric power facilities.
That the takins in fee stmple of the property
described in EXHIBIT A attach•d hereto and by reference ude a
part hereof, situated in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa
Clara, State of California, ts necessary for suc:h improvement.
SECTION 3~ That said proposed acquisition and improvement
is plan~ed and located in a manner which vill be most compatible
with the greatest public good and ·the least private injury • and
all of such acquisitions are located within the territorial limits
of the City of Palo Alto.
SECTION 4. That the Council of the City of PaloAlto hereby
declares its intent.ion to acquire title in fee simple in said
land.desc:ribed in EXHIBIT A under eminent domain proceedings, and
the City Attomey of the City of Palo Alto and the law firm of
Messrs, Wilson, Harzfeld, Jones and Morton, employed for that
purpose, are hereby directed to institute and conduct to conclusion
an action in eminent domain for the acquisition of said property
in fee simple, and totake such action a1 ia necessary therein •
