RESOLUTION OF 'mE COUMCIL OF 'Dll CITY OF PALO
ALSO DECLAJUNG THE IITENTION TO ABANDON A
PORTION OF AN UNNAMED STI.!ET IN TRACT 19, MAYVIEW
HOMESITES
The Council of the City of Palo Alto RESOLVES •• follow.:
SECTION 1. It ie the intention of the Council to abandon
that portion of the street known as a portion of an unnamed. ltreet
in Tract 19t Mayview Homeaitea described in EXHIBIT A attached
hereto and made a part hereof and ahown on e map marked EXHIBIT
B attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTI9! 2. The City Council hereby determines that the
public convenience and necessity require that there be expreaely
:reaerved and excepted from portions of the atreet to be vacated
purauant to these proceedings, unto the City of Palo Alto, ita
*uccesaors and aaaigns, the easements described on EXHIBIT A,
an eamement for public utilities and itorm sewer purposes gener~
ally.
SECTION 3. The original street dedication wa1 achieved
without cost to the City, therefore, there will be no coste
involved.

SECTION 4. Monday, the 9th day of March, 1964, at 7:30 P·•·
Council Chamber, City Hall, Palo Alto, California, is aet as the
time and place of hearing where and when any perton having an
interest in such proceedings may a~pear and ~reeent evidence
either for or against such vacation.
SECTION 5. The Superintendent of Streets is directed to
poat notices of street vacation cons~icuoualy along the line
of the portions of the street or roads to be vacated as dea·
cribed in Section 1 hereof at least 10 day• befe~e the hearing,
posting no more than 300 feet apart and a minimum of three.
notices shall be posted.
