a.gre~m~nt or September 22, 1930, :tn accordance w1 th 1 ta
torma and to make etr~otlve applicants tiled aohedules
of rules ~mel regulation• of gas s~1~v1ce to onarge and
colla~t for the gas a$rV1ce as set forth in said company's
Schedule C-2-N ( Reviaed Sheet G. R. C .. No. 249-0) •

Y~a.s raade on the 6th day of Septembi'lr, 1910; in ord~r
not to pay large severtu1oe damages to the Palo Alto Gas
Company, 1t became neoesaery kl make a .;raluat1on of
tile following propel t1, tn addition to the property within
the City of Palo Alto; a-ly:

Un1vui's1ty and the home of Charles Q. Lathrop and
oampua llomes."
And in rettpect thereto the City of Palo Alto paid to th~
Palo Alto Gas Company the valuation round by tne
Railroad Com .. "l•.ission for said property rights of the1 ·
Palo Alto Gas Company on the campus of the Leland Stanford
Junior University.
Th's Council also finds that thereafter under
an order of the Superior COUI't of the Cou:n.ty o !' Santa
Clara that said property was oond~mned to the use of
the city or Palo Alto and 'by ordtsr of se.id Court the
City o! Palo Alto was put into possession thereof.
That ever ainoe aaid order or the superior Court the
City ot Palo Alto haa been furnishing gas to Lt.land
Stanford Junior University and to the res1dence3 and
h.Otles of individuals residing llpon the catnpum.
This Couno11 also finds that it has certain
propert7 and rights in and to portions cf the gsa
